For the sake of sanity and football season, we needed one room that felt finished and had a big TV as the the headliner. I hate to decorate around them, but let’s just confess, we live in a world of Saturday football, Tuesday night Bachelor in Paradise (I refuse to hide my love any longer), catching up on Ellen midweek and all the Netflix that falls in between. It’s just how it is and although I did have some other plans for this space and still do down the road… we played the "work with whatcha got game" and pulled it together in time for chilly fall nights by the fire and gamedays.
99% of this space was repurposed from the ol’ condo and it sure does feel more like home now. We went big on a gallery wall over the sofa and tried to bring in as much graphic color as possible. This space is carpeted but to break up the beige, we layered a flat weave rug, a new ottoman for maxing out the chill and lot of new textiles.

The original paneling makes this feel like a little cabin getaway so we are rolling with it and if you ever miss us on the weekend, you can find us at our “Mountain House” just down the stairs with this cutie (see above).
Happy (almost) Fall!
