If you have been following along for any period of time you know that my love for local artists runs deep and the ridiculously talented Dorothy Shain is certainly no exception. Dorothy has made a light-filled, bright white, paint splattered, original hardwoods, studio her home in Art and Light Gallery and it is nothing short of a freakin’ dream.

This space just needed a little bit of love to help make it a space where Dorothy can crank out her creative genius. A few of the things we added were: shelves for both organization + display (because those Anthro bikinis need a moment), a new chair to host her fab Lacefield pillows, pops of purple, and some greenery for an organic element.
Projects like this are so satisfying for so many reasons. First being that turning a space around in one day is always a thrill. Second, I LOVE using Dorothy’s pieces in my designs so being able to help her pull her own space together brought our friendship to a full, beautiful circle. Be sure to check out Dorothy’s work -- I promise you will be inspired.
