The first week of M A Y has come and gone! How in the world did that happen?! For the past two years, Kevin's been in nursing school and just graduated (woohoo!) - so Maisy is holding down the fort and we are peacing out so hard, hitting a beach where there will be umbrellas in our drinks and no cares in the world to celebrate... but we could have just gone to hang in this living room because it brings all the summer vibes.
A big dose of happy is what I see when I look at this room. It’s basically as happy as I am about sitting on a beach and I love it mainly because it's jammed packed with color and pattern and art from two of my fave gals, Kiah Bellows and Mary Ann Forehand. (AKA my kind of paradise).
This condo living room with minimum natural light was tan, red, and in need of some pseudo sunshine. We brought it via that big yellow ottoman anchoring the room. Then we layered in hues of blue, pink, and green along with different textures and accessories pulling it all together to create a happy getaway.
So, if you’re feeling envious, just pretend it’s not Monday and picture yourself in this sunny space or jumping into that Kiah Bellows beauty on the wall and maybe, just maybe, you’ll feel like you’re on the beach with me!
