If I haven't said it already, I'll say it now: do not skimp on the en suite. Sure you may be the only one to see it 99% of the time but it's where we start and end our days so why not pull out all the stops!? Today's master bath renovation is the product of going all out and making sure our clients have a true getaway only steps away from the bedroom.
It's true that we love a papered powder room but wallpaper is by no means reserved for the smallest of bathrooms. We decided on a simple but impactful black & white pattern for the walls and neutral selections for tile both in the shower and on the floor. These elements created the perfect backdrop for accessories, fixtures and a vibrant vanity to pack a punch.
We knew we wanted this space to feel grown up and glamorous. making gold the obvious choice for fixtures / hardware. Next, a pair of distressed metal mirrors to break things up and add an interesting contrast. We softened things up in our final layer by adding in art, a vintage rug and the unexpected drapes-in-a-bathroom situation.
