• Modern Eclectic Home Tour

While we love keeping you updated on what we've been working on, we really love when we get to show you an entire home tour! A room should certainly be able to stand on its own, but you can't really get the full feel for the homeowners personality until you see how each room flows into the others!

Last week we gave a detailed tour of these client/friends' kitchen (currently featured in HGTV magazine!) and over time we've shown you bits and pieces of this home but we thought you guys deserved to see it all together!

Entering the front door, you may be so lucky to be greeted by Willis (the family feline) then shortly after, the cozy + collected living room begs you to take a seat and stay awhile.

After kicking our feet up for a bit, we move into the dining room, made up of solid wood heirlooms balanced by "poppy" wallpaper to keep things from going too dark.

After another visit to the kitchen, which you are hopefully well-acquainted with, we move to our next, and maybe the most fun, room! Last week you may have noticed this sunshine-hued space through an open door and that would be the bold and bright family room -- perfect for entertaining and movie watching but has also been known to be cleared out for gymnastic mats and tumbling practice .

Walking towards the bedrooms, you'll peek inside another electric colored room where we were able to do a few cosmetic updates to amp up the vintage bathroom.

Finally, you arrive at the Principal Suite addition made up of rich jewel tones on top of a classic backdrop of gray paint and black & white tiles! We can think of no better way to end the tour than with this killer tub shot, complete with the perfect Dorothy Shain piece!

I think the most important thing to point out is that these clients' have taken it at their own pace and I truly believe the spaces are better because of it! Don't stress if you are overwhelmed with the amount of rooms in your home you'd like to see transformed with personality (preaching to myself as well!). Instead of rushing through and settling for less, wait it out if need be and the results will be perfectly YOU!
    Happy Monday!
